Who We Are

We are the Circle of Rainbows - a group of 20 women who support the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Along with 50 other Circles we support the children of southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina through fundraising, volunteerism, leadership and advocacy. Our casual monthly meetings are a time to celebrate our friendship and work on our projects. Our major fundraiser is Make a Scarecrow, Make a Difference in September. We also work as a group and individually on surgery bears. We'd love to have you connect with our group and join the fun!

Make a Scarecrow / Make a Difference

Join us September 22-23 (Sat/Sun 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM) at McDonald's Garden Center on Independence Blvd in VA Beach for the 23rd annual "Make a Scarecrow / Make a difference" event!

Bring the family to create your very own, custom, life-size scarecrow. We provide the supplies - all you need to bring is your creativity! Make a tradition, make a difference…Make a Scarecrow.

Cost $30, includes instructions and all supplies. A portion of the proceeds ($25) benefit CHKD. Come on out and have a great time supporting a great cause! Register here or in stores. Walk-ins are welcome, while supplies last.
