The King’s Daughters membership volunteer work has evolved from fundraising to pay visiting nurse salaries and operating small clinics to raising funds to build and handle operations for CHKD and now to raising funds, friends and awareness for our hospital.  We are mothers, doctors, homemakers, attorneys, students, single and married women whose achievements -- from a single visiting nurse, to a hospital exclusively for children, to hugely successful fund-raising activities -- have been phenomenal.

Our organization is comprised of 44 Adult Circles and 8 Junior Circles.  Circles are groups of women that range in size from 6 to 50 members; each of which have one goal in common – to ensure that the children of the region continue to receive the best medical care possible and to make CHKD the best it can be.  To achieve this goal, Circles have fundraisers throughout the year, and also participate in major projects such as RunWalk for the Kids, Breakfast with Santa, and Moonlight & Mistletoe.  They also make hand-sewn stuffed bears for the surgical patients and many other hand-made items for our patients at CHKD.  There are also opportunities to volunteer in various ways inside the hospital.

There are several ways to get involved and we welcome anyone who supports our mission to join us in our efforts to support CHKD.  Join a Circle, Start a brand new Circle, and volunteer at our major fundraisers are among these opportunities.  We invite you to contact us to get involved today!
