The King's Daughters want you to join the ranks of the 1,200+ devoted unclesam.gifvolunteers who give their time and efforts to benefit CHKD each year.

The King's Daughters are organized into individual Circles throughout Hampton Roads that combine fun and camaraderie through countless activities and events built around their common goal of helping children and raising funds for the hospital.

Please visit the circles page to see information about the current circles.  Circles exist in every city and have a variety of meeting times and locations.  You may join an existing circle or gather some friends and start your own!  All members pay minimal annual dues to support mailings and administrative costs and volunteer time to support projects and events.  Each circle establishes it's own dues and volunteer hour requirements.

Membership in King's Daughters Circles is open to all individuals who want to support the mission of The King's Daughters organization.

The King's Daughters define three membership categories in its by-laws.

Adult Member - Any member who has paid dues and is in good standing of an Adult Circle as of July 1 of any year shall be considered a member in good standing of The King's Daughters and shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of membership, including the right to vote on any matter brought before the membership from that date up to and including June 30 of the following year.  Please contact staff to have a prospective member packet mailed to you.  Or you can click to download prospective member form.

Junior Member- Any Middle School or High School student who is a member in good standing of a Junior Circle/Club shall be recognized as a Junior member. Junior Circle/Club members are not entitled to vote.  For more information see the Junior Members page.

Honorary Member- Any Adult member who has paid dues and been granted Honorary status by the Board of Directors shall be recognized as an Honorary member. The Board of Directors may grant Honorary status to any member in good standing of an Adult Circle who is no longer able to participate due to health or physical limitations or has 20 or more years of service. Honorary Members are required to pay reduced annual dues to offset the cost of mailings and are not entitled to vote. When the entire Circle is made up of Honorary members, the Circle is then designated as an Honorary Circle.
