Volunteers and staff will lead approximately 1,200 students from local school systems through mock hospital settings including laboratory, radiology, operating room, a patients room, the emergency department, and a child life playroom. The program concludes with a tour of a CHKD transport unit. This seventh annual event is scheduled for April 28  May 1, 2009, in the Brickhouse auditorium at CHKD. Joy Parker, volunteer service director, will be coordinating the volunteer placements for this program. This program is a fun opportunity to volunteer.
