CHKD and the State Budget |

As Jim Dahling shared last week, CHKD will be significantly affected by the state budget in its current form. And since that time, we have heard from many of you asking what you can do to help. We have drafted a sample letter that you may use to send to your state legislator. It explains the current situation and asks legislators to protect CHKD as they work through their budget decisions. You may follow the simple instructions on chkd.org to send this letter. Please feel free to personalize the letter in your own words as well. If you are inclined to speak out for CHKD, now is the time. We will keep you apprised as more news comes out of Richmond, and could be asking for your help in the future.
