The work of devoted King’s Daughters has an enormous value to the hospital. 
Over the years we have been able to support much need programs and purchase vital equipment such as:

• Purchase of 29 State-of-the-Art Cribs at $7000 each.
• Purchase of  Transport Unit (ambulance) used to safely bring children to CHKD from other hospitals.
• Purchase of Incubators and Ventilators.
• Purchase of Aquatic Therapy Pool at CHKD's Oyster Point Facility.
• Pledged 1 million dollars by 2010 for Endowment Funds for the Nursing Externship and Child Abuse Programs.
• Annually raise money for the CHKD Annual Giving Fund.

Through the very generous support of businesses and friends like you, The King’s Daughters continue to support these programs for CHKD; including CHKD’s Health and Surgery Center at Princess Anne and most recently a pledge in support of CHKD’s Chesapeake Capital Campaign to purchase a therapy pool.  In FY 2009-2010 we completed a $1 million pledge (paid over 5 years) to CHKD’s Endowment Campaign in support of CHKD’s Child Abuse and Nursing externship programs.
