Each May, the Circles of The King's Daughters participate in the annual Circle Donation Bag Drive for the CHKD Thrift Stores. Circles compete by collecting items from their families, friends and nearby businesses. The items are then bagged and counted and donated to the Thrift Stores. The Circle that donates the most items wins. The King’s Daughters' Circles donated 3,681 bags to the CHKD Thrift Stores in 2008, 4,901 bags in 2009, and 5,016 bags in 2010! The Thrift Stores rely on donations for their inventory. The King's Daughters consistently provide high quality merchandise that is in great condition. The level of donations makes the CHKD Thrift Stores the number one Thrift Store in the area.
